Borneo

Borneo, when misheard can be misunderstood as boring. Having been to several megacities, one can't help but compare. It does take a mind shift change to move from a shopping/high life paradigm to a lowly, slow and laid-back atmosphere. Each country does have and project a different kind of persona, almost like the ingredients of your halo-halo in the summer. Although tiring to move from one country to the other the passport stamp is well worth it-to me it is a significant indication that I have indeed rewarded myself, something like a pat on the back to oneself. This trip makes me ask for more, it will tell you to your face that cultures beyond your confines allows you to grow, understand and embrace what makes up the world around you. Hell, I'm blogging using my phone in a coffee shop in the middle of Brunei. WHO GOES TO BRUNEI, RIGHT? I was asked that question a few days ago, I answered, I don't know either. Oh well, KK was great as my beach fix has been granted. Tomrrow afternoon back to Malaysia and then Mla. And then, Holyweek comes where too?
