This is how I saw HK and Macau in 06

FUCK! It was very, very tiring to move across two countries in less than a week! But the shopping and the people around you will amaze you alot!
Hongkong’s Time Square area was a blast, I didn’t see this much "dressed" up people in Singapore nor Indonesia. Their fashion rocks! When you look at their clothes, hell it was beyond what a normal pinoy would wear. But they carried it well, I didn’t think I’d feel old fashioned there, hell I did. ( I guess for you guys who has gone there in the past you’d understand what I am saying)
The food was awesome, although its hard to talk to everyone, it sure was a challenge to let the waiter know what you wanted to eat. Not to forget the boiled streetfood (which until now I have no idea what it was)…sarap!!!
As usual, I became the usual Tourist wanting to get into all the places. So after learning the science of the MTR and the bus routes. We were able to go to The Peak and Stanley Market and passby Hk’s waveless beach ( who would’ve thought they actually had a beach?!) Tsim Shat Sui was a blast as well, altough it was just another shopping area. I didn’t get to goto Lantau and see the biggest gold buddha.. but I dont give a damn.

On to Macau.. after using the Turbo Jet, this place looked like a big Intramuros with hundreds of Casinos around it.
Nostalgic is not the word, rather dreamy. It was obvious this country was living off the shadows of HK. Almost all the shops in HK can be found here.
Alot of interesting places to go to in Macau. What I enjoyed the most is the Macau Tower. Awesome view, great atmosphere, but expensive coffee in cafe on top of the tower! The entrance fee was expensive but worth it!
Macau had a few things to boast off but the Senado Square is quite a tourist spot, with all the things you’d need to buy ( as if I havent had enough from HK)
Surely I’d love to go back to both countries and not carry the burden of all things I ended up buying. Well the memories are great, especially spending it with people you Love
